How do I request (place holds) on books?
Answer
Books can be requested from Brooklyn College, other CUNY Libraries, or via Interlibrary Loan.
Books at the Brooklyn College Library or another CUNY Library
- Find the book in OneSearch (Library Catalog).
- Search All CUNY to include books from other CUNY Libraries in your search.
- Click the book's title to open details.
- Sign in using your CUNYFirst credentials if needed.
- Under "Get It," choose "Request this Library's copy."
- Pick your preferred CUNY Library for pick-up.
- Wait for an email notification that it's ready.
Interlibrary Loan (Books not available at Brooklyn College or CUNY)
