What do I do if I get a "400 Bad Request" error or a database link will not resolve?

If you are trying to access a library electronic resource off campus you may have difficulty if your have not cleared your internet browser cache and cookies recently. Jstor is very sensitive to this issue. If you receive an error message that says "400 Bad Request Request Header or Cookie Too Large" you must clear your browsing data. You do not need to clear your history, just your cache and cookies. If you cannot, try to access the resource using "incognito" or "private" mode on your browser.

Clearing your browsing data can also help if you receive a "Bad Gateway" error from a Cambridge website or if a resource link will not "resolve."
